Content reviewed · Nov 3, 2026

Who it is for

People installing Clash Verge Rev on Windows 10 or 11 who are not sure which package to take.

Prerequisites

  • A 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 system
  • Access to GitHub Releases
  • Administrator rights if you plan to use TUN

Installation steps

  1. 1

Open the Clash Verge Rev client page and follow the GitHub Releases link.

  2. 2

In the latest release, take the x64 .exe or .msi. Choose arm64 only on ARM devices.

  3. 3

Run the installer. If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning, click More info, then Run anyway.

  4. 4

Import a profile and confirm the system proxy works before touching TUN.

Common issues

Defender blocks the installer

Confirm the file came from the official release. An unknown-publisher prompt can be allowed; a suspicious source should be downloaded again.

Browser still cannot open pages

Usually the system proxy is off or the port conflicts. Check the port shown on the client dashboard against your system proxy settings.

Next step

Import a subscription next; skipping it leaves you with nothing configured.
